Hanoi, Capital Of Vietnam

I arrived safely by plane in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam with a population of 6.7 million people. I spent one day there, mainly in the old quarter and wandered around Hoan Kiem Lake, went for a noodle soup, prepared my next day and went to the night market Don Xuan.
I found out that the top sight „mausoleum“ was closed, so I could not visit this historical place. It’s also closed on Monday, as it contains a  museum.
There is a lot of traffic in Hanoi and it seems to be impossible to cross the streets. What I found out is that you just need to walk slowly while crossing  the street, not doing sudden moves and as all drivers are so flexible and they watch out, they won’t roll over you and you will make it safe to the other side.
Well, Hanoi was nice to see for one day, now I am on my way to Halong Bay. I just love stunning nature and landscape much more than big cities.
